Lag in power/jerking 98' A4

Its a 1.8T! I don't think its the plugs I have had them in for the last 2,000 miles with no problems, I think its the transmission because the issues always occur between 20-35 mph the jerk is similar to the transmisson tryting to get into gear, also when I give the car more gas usually this jerk will always happen but if I accelerate very slowly I have no problems.

do you let the car warm up before you drive it. the trans fluid might just be cold

Yup i put those in and i did check the gap and fixed that so i knew that wasn't it

Funny I've been having this same problem too with my 2.8 I posted asking about it earlier, just in case you missed it... I did my timing belt and a fluid flush the other day and I get a jerk sometimes after shifting sometimes a while after the gear shifts, is this a sign that my tranny is going bad? I used the tip in 3rd and stayed in third for a bit and still felt the jerk. Any ideas?
