Does anyone have any tips for improving the seal of the upper radiator hose to the radiator? This is the big one that goes to the block, and has a split off that goes to the expansion tank.

Mine had a leak that was sometimes slow, sometimes faster, requiring me to top up my expansion tank every couple hundred miles. I removed it to inspect, reattached it and now it leaks even worse. The hose is only 6 months old / 10k miles on it.

I sure wish audi had just used a regular hose clamp on this....

Anyway to seal this up with silicone maybe?
