Default Left blinker bulb

Ok so, today my left blinker bulb went out. Which for some reason I did not know, it also caused my left hazard light to not work either. I have bought the bulb to replace it but for some reason I cannot get the left blinker housing to come out. It's a 97 a4 quattro and it is about dang near impossible for me to get it out without it feeling like i'm gonna break plastic. Any suggestions on what i could do???

If you could link me a place that sells the one piece headlights I would appreciate it. Maybe even take your advice and bust them out lol.

Don stop trolling lol.

OP, The 97 2-piece headlights have corner lenses that snap into place on the headlight housing. Pop the hood and look straight down between the the headlight and the corner light. There will be a white clip between the two. Squeeze the clip and slide the corner light towards the front of the car and it will slide right out. There's enough slack in the wiring harness that you'll be able to let it hang there. The connector on the back of the corner light needs 1/4 turn counter clock wise to unlock the bulb, then pull it straight back out of the corner light housing to remove it.

No hammers. NO.

Your bulbs not burnt out. You ran out of blinker fluid, causing the hazards to stop working

Lol I love trolling. I already took his advice about the hammer thing. I bought brand new one piece halo headlights with high/low beams and drl's in all honesty I tried getting the light out but I broke the plastic lol.

lmao damn you Don, we could have saved this one!

Anyway, 1-piece headlights are a tremendous visual upgrade on these cars, so you did yourself a favor. Post some pics!
