Haha, don't worry man, I'm bustin' yer *****. Depends on the state... and how you respond to an officer's requests when you get pulled over. In some states, you need two front plates, so you'll get a ticket for no front plate. Under certain circumstances, you could be nailed for an illegal plate, which is often a larger fine.

second that for VA-friendly-ness, I've run my europlate for a couple weeks now without problems, specificaly in suffolk, where they have more problems with drugs and the ghettos and other B/S to worry about me and my euro-plate... it's mostly rural area anyway so the modified scene is almost non-existiant. I do, however match my state plates to my euro-plates, so they say the same thing and I keep my other VA plate in the trunk so if I get pulled I can always say that I have my other plate with me. The only time I have to worry about the po-po is when I make my late friday/saturday night trips to VA- beach.. where they have enough bored cops to just get pulled over for the conversation of telling me all what's illegal about my car.
