what i do is keep a towel in the pocket behind the seat and wipe my shoe then put my foot on the foot rest thingy so my shoe stays dry. i don't think there's much of a cure for a wet shoe unless they make a sponge for a pedal that had like rubber studs on it or something lol

 

I have very similar pedals (ABT). The grip is great and I think much improved over the stock pedals. I say do the dead pedal also, it looks so much better when you have the complete set...

I say do it. I went with the aluminum ones because my S has silver trim, but the black does look nice.
