I have 2 A4s and would like to fix the CC and if anyone has any pics. of the switch taken apart and the control box with cracked solder be a big help Thanks

Thanks a bunch i have the box out and apart and will see if i can make it work i have 2 to try on. Lucky the wife doest care if she has cc if i wreck one.

 

Just realized thats for the 99 A6.....but apparently it should still work for the A4.

 

Id think they must be close if not the same??? have a 98 and 99 A4's

 

Some guy posted DIY, who attempted the DIY and confirmed it with his 1997 A4.

 

I need to get a smaller solder iron before i try this on the next cont. box. I made the first one work but it still is not right but is is kind of working and its the first it has showed anylife in 4 years so im thinking i need to clean the cc switch and should be good as gold. Thanks for the info.
