Default Looking for a new Audi

I am just getting into the audi market, and I was wondering if there is a preferred year or model?

Do you want an audi to do some mods to? Do you want to make payments or how much do you wanna spend?

1997-2001 a4 1.8T quattro Manual....you should be able to pick a decent one up for somewhere between 4.5-9k....

I would say a a4 b5 (96-01) is the way to go then. I love my 97 and the possibilities you can do to it are endless. I'd say def look for a tqm (turbo quattro manual). Search for the best mileage/condition for your buck. Post what you find and we can help you decide if you want.
Key things to ask are: Timing belt been changed/original or replacement clutch/turbo working fine/any suspension issues such as control arms

So if I am looking for a '01, what kind of mileage or price should I be looking for?

Figure the average of 12,000 a year. So if you can find an 01 in good condition under 100,000
thats all good but I'm sure you can find a lot lower. When you find one go to kbb.com and that will tell you the exact third party value of the car when you put in the year and miles. Or
edmunds.com
