I love my AWM B5 Manual 5 speed tranny!!! I only wish it was a six speed. I think an auto trans would kill the joy for me (and I don't even really beat on this car - when compared to other vehicles I've owned).

All of the good points I could make/agree with have already been made:

"A clutch is relatively easy to replace compared to rebuilding an auto trans."

"Anyone who cares about performance is going to buy a manual. The increased control, direct response, and power transfer characteristics all favor a manual."

"...I prefer luxury cars, opposed to sports cars. I like the luxurious look of the B5, while looking sporty at the same time......." - ****You can still have both with a manny trans.****

If you're on the fence about which to get.....that means you want a manual.
