Master Window Switch Question..

Hey guys,
I've been trying to find a way to remove the buttons from this set, since on my car one of the buttons is falty, and i'd figure if I'd replace the button with one of these functionel buttons, the problem would be solved. The issue is I can't seem to remove any of them. I've tried searching online and checked out the online Bentley, but nothing is mentioned in relation to this part of the car.
Could anybody explain to me how to remove the buttons..?
Thx for your help in advance..

Just to clarify, I need to remove the buttons from the module.. They are more complicated then I had imagined..

Nobody has any clues... I've tried everything, even forcing it out..
Have you guys ever managed to get the buttons out of the master swtich module??

Andrew149 Feb 25, 2010 02:21 PM

hmm if you cant get them out than find a used master set and instal that instead

I don't think you can remove the switches from the panel. Much like Lexus's paneling. VW's have replaceable switches, but I dont think our audi's do. I've never had to replace a switch though, so I might be wrong.
