Which MBC?
So I'm going to need an MBC and am not sure which one to get. I remember seeing people talking about getting the 2 prong ones and not the three. What is the difference? Is the three prong just an in-cabin controller? I see them on ecs for like $35 and am not sure if its good or not. If I can get an electronic one for like $50-100 I will though. Otherwise adjusting boost will be a pain.
Thanks,
Chris

Electric boost controllers are the best and easiest, but they cost at least $150.
The most popular mbc for the a4 guys is the hallman boost controller, I've never heard of anybody having any problems with one.

I use a Boostvalve in parallel with the N75 to stop boost spikes. I'd use it without a N75, too, if I didn't desire to have the ECU controlling the wastegate.
Ideally for our cars it's better to use a MBC that is not a bleeder type. Ball and spring MBCs are more responsive, and in the case of the Boostvalve MBC, pretty cheap and easy to work with.

I don't get why that one is so expensive compared to a lot of the other ones that I have seen. Also, is there a diagram for which vacuum lines I use to connect into it? I'm just wondering what the gains of the controllers with three connections are compared to one with two connections.
I'm using the $35 Forge MBC you saw on ECS, and it's okay. You have to be very gentle with the throttle, otherwise it turns into an on/off boost switch. What's your plan for using it? You can't just slap it on in place of the N75 and go nuts...
The difference between the two and three port MBC's is that the third port is intended to recirculate the air bled out of the controller back into the intake tract. Not a huge deal.

MBC on a k03 or even a k04 is usually exactly like what CCA4 described. They're ungodly touchy, I ran my boost controller on my k03 when it was chipped and hated it so much I took it off. It would surge and bounce around, and that was even in line with the n75.
On a BT setup though (which is why I think hes asking) its much more calm and controlled since the turbo doesnt spool up as quick. I'm running the same one as i was before and its real nice.

Meloman was exactly right(probably because I plan to buy his turbo). I want to get the two prong because I don't want to deal with the bleed valve on it. I feel that boost controllers really shouldn't be expensive given how simple they are. I looked into this manufacturer and it seems that they are pretty good: Voodoo IV MBC Manual Turbo Boost Controller 0 30 PSI w Ceramic Ball Black B | eBay
