^^ i actually thought the same arent hr like blue or something. also if there was some way to make sure they will bolt on directly and they will fit.

he sandblasted and repainted them due to surface rust due to being run through the winter but he said that he sanded it down and sandblasted and painted them. ill trust his word since he is an certified audi tech that works for a dealership up here...he said that when he sent the pic to make an offer for them and i offered 300 as a low ball offer just to see where he was at for a price in them or how much hed let them go for...

that paint mightbe covering up some rust on some of the coils in that case then. its alwasy good to trust though and for taht price its good

I really like my H&Rs. Just make sure they are for the right drive train. ie quattro or FWD because they are slightly different.

i thought the coilover springs were red or black? you should call ECS and just ask what color the street and track springs are

Most H&R springs are red and small percentage are black. The shocks however, come in various colors depending on what they are. I know the shocks can be gold, silver, or black.

It would make much more sense if they were sand blasted as I've never seen H&R in that color before. Just make sure they are still good (otherwise you'll still be wasting money even if you get them for cheap) and they are for the right car (like said Quattro and FWD are different).
