Curious as to what other people are averaging.

Repost. But I'm too lazy to find the old thread. In my '97 12v 2.8qm, I get about 300-320 miles per tank, all city driving. I get around 30mpg @ 70mph on the interstate though, so I suppose I could theoretically get well over 400 miles per tank if all I did was highway driving.

when i push it I get about 350 miles to the tank

when I baby it I get 500 miles to the tank

I average about 400 miles to the tank which is roughly 26.5mpg

I am a 1998 A4 1.8T Quattro Manual and all I have as far a "performance" for my motor is an intake and heatshield...lol

after I get chipped I am sure that my driving style whill change a bit in the city and my mpg will suffer the consequences

whaaaaat. thats amazing. i have the window sticker from my car and it says 21/29 but i'm getting more like 19/22

since i got my car the best i've seen is about 340 miles per tank on the highway... not sure about city...
looks like a new MAF and fuel filter is in my future. i live in AZ and it's always really dusty so maybe that'll help..

Exactly what he said except i have a 96 and its a bit lower due to cold weather the engine staying cooler thus car runs a bit richer.

I'd be lucky to hit 380 in my '01 avant 1.8tqm, and I drive about 60 mph for 100 miles everyday for work. what the ****?! what are you guys doing?
