Misc Electronics under my seat (PIE?)
 

So, I was looking at my blown bose speakers and I noticed it had some spliced connectors hooked up and I didn't know where they went to until today.

Could anyone tell me if this is factory and am I messing up things by removing this?

looks like someone tried to hook an amp to the stock head unit .

That's what I thought cause they had them spliced into the back rear speakers

Yeah that's definitely not OEM. Hard to say what removing it will do without seeing exactly what's wired to what.

That box was wired into the back 2 deck speakers

looks a lot like what i pilled out for the stock changer. that was a mess to remove

I don't think that is apart of my changer cause that was spliced into the stock speakers

Aren't 2 of the speakers from the head unit amped and two not? Maybe this was an attempt to amp.

But they were spliced in like this and I don't believe it's OEM
