Mixing G12 Coolant

Mixing G12 Coolant
I've done some searching, but wanted a definitive answer.
What are the differences between the different G12 coolants, and can you mix them? The ones I'm talking about are G12 (pink), G12 plus (purple), and G12 plus plus (purple):

Yes they can be freely mixed. I don't know why you'd be getting different colors though.
Valvoline just updated their G12+ in '03 and had the purple color. Pink is the OG after G11 but some people confused it with GM's Dex-cool, hence color change.
Pink/Purple are compatible, as long as they're the Pentosin/Valvoline G12 mixes.

They're updated coolants IIRC. I would just get the cheapest/easier to obtain. Really not any difference. Newer cars use purple, older cars use pink, but neither harm the other. B5 TB kits use Pentosin pink G12. B6 TB kits use Zerex G12. Zerex is a division of Valvoline.
