I have InMotion tuning.
I got it installed by a automotive electronics guy for 30$ so with install and shippingthe price was 170€.
The chip works really well on my A4 and I recomend it. Cheap hp!
The car boosts about 1bar at max and then falls back to 0.7-0.8 bar.

I did have some problems with the install... the soldering guy missed one leg the first timebut after that it worked fine.

Thats one mild tune, one bar is 14.7lbs of boost,a pittance on the spike compared to the other chips.

Might be...
Don´t know if it´s because I´m driving a 96 A4---> smaller turbo and maf than 97-- I think.
The erliest model in the US I think was 97 right?
Or then it´s just a mild tune.

INMOTION is a great company. They have been around for 10 years.I bought a chip from them about 2 months ago. The chip worked perfectly. No CEL, Nothing. Inmotion employees were very helpful. They contacted me immediately and asked for my BOSCH ECU number. Even though i'm selling my chip, I have been very happy with it. I'm ugrading to K04 so I'm upgrading chips.

People who down-talk other companies have no room to talk unless they try a product first. Just because a company is not well known in these forums doesnt mean itmakes bad products. APR, REVO and GIAC all had to start from somewhere, they had to have been an unknown company just like INMOTION. I have yet notfounda bad review against INMOTION tuning.

I read in another thread that if you do best offer they will accept $150 making it even cheaper

I have in-motion tuning.

I was already tuned from previous owner, and I now think that it was GIAC, but I didn't boost past 10 PSI. So I got the In-motion tune. I got a little bit better, maybe 12 PSI. I then went out and purchased a used 2 program APR ECU to test everything out with a "known" chip. Guess what, back down to 10PSI just like before. So, I've now found out 2 big things

#1 my car has a major leak/problem somewhere - going to work on that this summer
#2 the In-motion tuning gave me more PSI and a better feel that both GIAC and APR.

Take it for what its worth, I have a leak so who knows what a car with zero leaks would have felt.

I too read about this in another forum. They don'tsell that cheap anymore. I offered them $150 and they turned it down.

I didn't have any leaks and I was peaking at about 18 psi. Not bad for a company that has "low quality" chips. Not everything onsold EBAY is garbage.

^just cause your boosting a certain psi, does not mean your making a certain power. which is why until someone dyno's either inmotion or speedtuning, its all just speculation

^^^^^^Yes, your right. Icompletely agree with that. What I want to emphasize is that this applies both ways,it's unfair tosay INMOTION chips areawaste of moneyuntil you have seen dyno testing results which show low power output.

If you were to buy a chip, and you feel feel a significant increase in acceleration, torque, and throttle response; that should be enough to make you happy with your chip purchase right?

Even if you were to dyno a car with a GIAC or INMOTION chip, the GIAC could show higher torque and/or HP, yet the inmotion could feel stronger to the person driving it. (or vice versa) all chipsare different. From what i've heard, GIAC chipped cars are funner to drive due totheir increased torque tuning.

yeah i agree, but (let's just say for the sake of argument, i had a GIAC chipped k03 setup) if i pulled up to you and wanted to race, then beat you, you wouldn't feel so hot, right? all cause i spent the extra $250

not really, thats true if your just looking at max numbers, but not a dyno. a power curve will show exactly how the tuning is set-up, whether the torque comes on fast, or the power doesn't fall off way before redline, etc...
