Motor mounts

I'd like to replace my motor mounts. Does anyone know if this can be done without taking half the damned car apart?

Thanks

If you take half the car apart your doing it wrong. The only hard part is getting the nut on the top an it's really not that big a deal

Yeah you should be able to support the motor with a support bar or a jack and some 2x4's without too much trouble. Who told you that you needed to take half the car apart?

Not a hard job by any means. Just look at the DIY articles. 034 motorsport even made one.

I can't remember who it was, but it was on a different forum, for sure. I was told that the car needed to be in "service position" so that the snub mount didn't prevent the engine from being moved high enough to swap out the main mounts.

Thanks

you'll be fine. you don't need to jack it up more than an inch or so. or you can drop the motor mount brackets and then you don't even need to jack it up at all.
