Hey guys just wondering what everyone was getting for mileage I was getting 24mpgs with the speedtuning chip and a broken n75 with alot of vacuum leak.

I got the APR chip and replaced the n75 with a used one and fixed all the vac leaks and im get about 34 mpgs.

Wondering if this is normal?

Oh and I do still drive like an animal :P

 

I average 26 so I don't think that's too bad with the vacuum leaks etc.

 

yah only thing I can think that make my mileage so good is maybe the mods ive done have made it more efficient. also those numbers are about 80% highway 20% rural no traffic really.

 

Geez, I can only get 29mpg highway with 50 psi in the tires.

 

port the intake mani and exhaust mani and k04 housing and TB and hollow your cat and youll get better mileage probly helps that i got FrontraK lol...

nah 29 is good though 34mpg baffles me and it has more power than ever...

 

I get between 23-25mpg and that is with my current mods.

No. It's not. Are you sure you're running stoich? I'd check your 02 sensor readings just to be sure you're not leaning out under boost.

On a trip to MD from CT, I averaged 30 MPGs with 2 additional passengers and a trunkload of crap. I'm chipped with a full Borla catback. In general, these speed items won't affect highway gas mileage. Most of us get 22-24 combined, but can get about 30 on the highway.

 

Funny that this is one seeming advantage of the 30v over the 1.8T (although most 1.8T owners here are chipped and drive like their ***** are on fire lol). I pull just over 20 in town and between 30-32 on the highway at a 70-75mph cruise.

 

I'm closer to 20 around town but on hwy I'm at about 31-34.
