So i was on the search for an audi since i have always owned vws. I looked on Craigslist and found this. As it sits i need a new core support, Radiator, Water pump, thermostat, fender, bumper, and headlights. But over all its in great shape. Tell me what you think.




I have seafoamed the motor but its running rough. Maybe vaccume leak. Idk yet. And the oil temp runs hot. But its low on oil???
And no cel???? Odd for a 96

 

sounds like coil packs looks like a good project only issue is its a 12v engine and not the 30v =[

Auto. I think the pack was changed. Not sure tho.

 

ALso. THe abs light is on. The brakes work fine tho. Air in the lines?

 

ABS light is prolly a bad ABS unit.

What other problems might it have that they aren't telling you about? Maybe I'm just jaded from my own personal experiences but since there's already so much wrong with it, there's probably more.. then again; it's 500 bucks... good luck bro

Well besides the above stated, It has no heat, the drivers seat has no power to the bottom and the blinker issue. But it starts within 3 cranks. Thats it.

 

good find with some work it should be a good car
