my 24 hour trip to Reno
Aha, like I said it isn't as severe now, maybe 2 inches back
. I like to feel in control and alert when I'm driving. Leaning back with my fingertips barely touching the wheel is not comfortable. Plus I have back problems so sitting up straight feels better.

^ x2 That's one of the biggest reasons I like my dad's suburban. The drivers' seat is big, cushy, and easy on my back. I like my car's drivers' seat because it holds me well but its definitely harder on my back.
i have long arms lol.. i can grab the steering when just fine.. and i dont do the fast and furious driving method, i usually drive holding the spoke or bottom of the wheel.. or ill just drive with my knee cuz im lazy lol

Shitty picture, but this is how I hold it.
ever since I took an "advanced driving" course as a requirement for my last job, I always drive sitting up. Although i really never had the seat leaned that far back in the first place.
I'd imagine if I sat in traffic like that for long enough I just might fall asleep.
