Decided I should join the forums now that I'm about ready to start my project. I bought my 2.8 5MT A4 a year ago and only got to drive her for 4 months before the clutch blew. I am finally finding time to work on it again, so I might as well share my experiences with the car while I read about others. It has 236k miles on it(Audi reliability!), and is bone stock. I need to do the door molding mod, fix a few leaks, and give her a new clutch kit to get her going for winter again. Hopefully the flywheel will be resurfaceable. After that I might start giving her some subtle mods.
