Ok i have an audi a4 q b5 the other day i was drivin and my car started to die out and stall and its an automatic ( i know its sad ) ok i was lucky enough for it to happen on my street but now when ever i start it it starts with no problem at all then it runs for around 10 seconds and then slowley dies out also if i start it and try to give it ne gas at all it imediatly dies out the fuel i think i can here the fuel pump turn on so i dont think that is the problem now i have started it plenty of times and it is getting sum sort of gas to the engine im lost and dont know what to do i live in new hampshire and its starting to get cold so i tried putting sumthing in to get rid of any moisture that may be in there and it still didnt work please if anyone has experienced any issues like this please help me

 

Dirty fuel system, bad injectors, bad spark plugs, bad alternator. Get it scanned for codes at AutoZone and see what comes up.

 

i had the same problem and i only live in CT its not even as cold but what i did was i got it towed to the shop and they said it was the spark plugs and the module car starts fine now even when its cold
