Default my new wheels

i just picked up a set of hp racing lightning wheels in silver. 18x8 5-112 et38. they have kumho ecsta mx 245/40/18 93y on them. a bit too big for my taste but i'll have to live with them until they're toast. they have some rashes and 2 of them are slighty bent on the inside but not enough to leak air. i'm gonna put something on it to make sure they don't leak though. here are the pix not on the car yet but will be in a couple of weeks when i have time to finish them and get the spacers i need. sorry for the crappy phone pix, better lighting would have help it.

They look good man! How much did you pay for them?
Don't forget to put up pics when you install them!

Nice wheels! You can wet sand out those scratches polish the lips then re-clearcoat they'll look brand new.

Nice find Yu. I like the wheels a lot. As I told you earlier, you're welcome to my spacers. We'll have to get together on the DTS project, it def looks doable.

Jerry, if you want another car for measurements as well, mine's available to you. I'd definitely be up for the DTS construction, adding whatever I can to the project (whether it's costs of materials, labor, whatever).

They look great, and I'm wondering whether or not you will end up liking the tires that big. I love big tires on a car and those are pretty big for an A4. I think you'll like the stance and the grip of them for sure. Looking forward to checking them out in person!

Once we get it drawn up, it's just a matter of making one and proving it out. Then we crank them out.

Sounds good. Let me know if I can give you an assist in any way and I'll do so.

It's tough to imagine getting the measurements correct. I guess we can make the tolerance loose and then tighten it up as we figure out how it fits.
