Blacked out? anyone have pics? Tried searching, couldn't find.

 

I don't think I've ever seen those painted. It couldn't hurt though...in my opinion, they're even ickier than the normal 2.8 wheels and if you end up hating it, just repaint them in silver . And you could making a nice fat silver lip...actually, that would probably look pretty darn good. Do it. It'll take less than 5 hours of very easy, stop and start work.

I remeber some kid was posting wheels that were listed on Ebay(I think it was upstateNY?) About 99 Dollar wheels on ebay that were good quality.

 

I know someone on here has those wheels blacked out. I did a little search too but cant find it. FWIW,i thought they looked good painted.

 

Yeah I remember that - I think it was akielb that posted that, wasn't it? I think it was like "The Official Good Deal Thread" or something.

... and there are several very good reasons for that.
