N75 not cycling?
Yeah. I used an ebay mbc for a while which gave me problems. But I think that it was more of a conflict between a pos mbc and my engine being dbw with the map/boost sensor. When/if I get one again I would try the Unos- the one I linked you to. People like it.

i got a TurboXS MBC from turboxs.com, i just installed it a while ago, and then took a test drive, at stock i was boosting 8psi, after i put on the MBC and did as the instructions said for a 1st run i was boosting 9psi, so i started to play with it a little to find a sweet spot, so i turned it a few times and went for a test run, i boosted 15psi in when i had my foot down in 3rd. so making my way back around the road, i put my car into auto, which i normally never do, and got on a main road, once i gave it gas my car was jerking.... rpms were going from around 3-5-3-5-3-5 (x1000 of course) and my boost gauge's needle was acting the same. so i pulled over. turned down the boost by 2 turns and now im boosting 11-12 psi with 0 jerking. so im guessing if u get a mbc and bypass the n75 like i have mine, it should solve your problem, u might be over boosting or something

nice, how much psi you pushing now? and can you hear your turbo spool. i heard mine spool last night it was the sickest thing ever. it was a really high pitched squeal once my boost gauge went over 10psi it was really noticable
Im guessin 19 cuz I was getting overboost at 20 before and I set it right below that. Yeh, I can hear it spool up. The only thing that is worrying me is a couple times I was gettin a whale like sound. But, off the line is insane!
also its a very bad idea to just crank up the boost on stock software. its a good way to blow your turbo/engine. if you dont program your car to inject more fuel for the added air getting shoved into the engine, you run lean. running lean leads to detonation which increases cylinder pressure spikes and can easily break a connecting rod and put a giant hole in your engine block. also you will be missing out on some untapped power unless you advance your timing some.
i have the turboxs hpbc too, its great once you get it dialed in. Jc61990- the problem your having is probably you havnt tuned the coarse boost control (the **** is the fine boost control, the allen screw is the coarse control) ive been fiddling with my intake so my MBC is out of tune and im getting some shaking at the moment. im not sure the best procedure to tune it, you just have to drive around for an hour or two and get it to where you like it.
the coarse adjustment is a simple ball and spring valve that is either open or closed. you set it to open at a certain boost pressure to activate the wastegate. this eliminates wastegate creep at partial boost, and makes your turbo spool faster. the wastegate sees zero boost pressure until it hits where you set this. the fine adjustment **** is a bleed type valve, which bleeds off excess pressure to fine tune the MBC to where you want it. once both are dialed in you will not get any jerking in the car.
now i didnt tell you to get a MBC so that you can crank the boost way up. i said to do this to fix your n75 problems. you can safely add a few psi over the stock psi of 8, but dont go crazy.
thats probly why my car was jerking when i hit 15... so 14 is the limit hmmmm well i will probly be getting my speed tuning chip next week or so, i just made 150$ and 50 more comming so i just need 49$ and ill be able to get it woo!.
Ok...I dont have a boost gauge. Im just goin by when my mechanic taped one to the window on one of his test drives when he bypassed the n75 without a mbc. He had said it jerked right b4 20? If I buy a boost gauge what do you suggest I set the mbc at? There are def different opinions on this cuz some say it is perfectly safe to tune it until right b4 cutout.
set the mbc so your boosting 14psi, i started jerking at 15psi, i just raised my mbc and went for a test drive, man it was fun, im boosting 14psi exactly funny too, as i was going down the road i always take my car for a test drive, i saw a all black B5 A4 with smoked tails, and painted black stock A4 rims (ones in my pic), and a Red TT with altezzas....ewwwww.....
seriously tho, im having too much fun driving my car, and i cant really test it out in a populated area, i need to find a track :P
