The only way you can run BOV is when they are HYBRID and when your ECU is chipped correct way.
Correct me if im wrong boys?

 

If you setup the MAF as a blow-through, then the lost volume of air would not have been "seen" by the ECU. Could switch to a stand-alone and then do speed-density... All in the name of a woosh noise.

 

Emil, you can run a splitter without any major issues as long as you keep the split around 50% vent/50% recirc. Any more than that and you're gonna run rich. Why is this thread not locked yet? lol

I ran blow-through for a couple months, but with a standard-type DV. During shifts the mixture would go rich, about 12.5:1 AFR. So if there was a BOV on my car (sounded like there was anyways because of the cone filter and upgraded TIP) it might have gone even richer. Can't imagine what the mixture would drop to with a BOV and a standard MAF setup!
