i have a 96 a4 2.8 fwd every time i lock the car only the diver side door locks, then the pump in the trunck will run fo about 45 sec. i have no idea what it can be

 

Vacuum leak? We do have vacuum locks ya know.

 

If the pump keeps running there is a leak in the lines.

 

is there any easy ways to find the leak

 

unfortunately, me thinks no. as you might guess, all of the lines are hidden so finding the leak won't be easy. i'd suggest starting back at the pump and working your way forward. also for the record, the pump running that long will store a code that you'll only be able to clear with VAG-com.

 

i found the leak it was my rear door lock, the line just popped off, works like it used to thanks
