Default need help please. audi quattro 1.8t no power

I have been rebuilding an 00 Audi A4 1.8t quattro. Just put a new dv valve on it and a whole new front end. Reset the throttle body. It starts right up idles a little ruff but evens out after a few seconds. but when you give it gas less then 50% it falls on its face. Above 50% spools up just fine. does not want to stay at steady RPM. Hooked up my code reader not getting any fault codes at all for some reason. Im new to the whole audi world so please bare with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Have you checked anything dealing with your injectors? Sounds like a fuel issue...

I'd say it's the Ignition Control Module, it's located on top of the airbox.

I will check both later on tonight. See what I can come up with.

my car has an aftermarket intake on it? So where could it be and was there a delete or anything for it? Thanks

Not really a delete for it that I know of, but the bottom of the sensor can be cut out of the airbox without much effort. My guess is its zip tied up out of the way someplace. There's not much slack in that wiring so it can't have gone far from where the airbox used to be. Just poke around on that side and see what you can find.

cannot find the ignition control module anywhere? Does the 2000 have it? Pulling the plugs in a little bit to check the gaps.

just pulled the plugs, gaps are fine on them. Im not sure what could be the cause of this. Could a vac leak cause something like this?

you might be right, the 2000 might not have an ICM. I know they removed it at some point but forgot when. sorry about the wild goose chase. did you ever check your injectors?
