Default need a little help guys

I have a 2000 Audi A4 1.8L non turbo version. for a couple of months now, i have this Red (!) flashing in my lcd cluster, this is the only thing blinking. No abs lights are flashing. My pads are bnew w/brake wear sensor, Brake fluid is full. hmm??? any help would be apreciated guys. im tired of starting the car early in the morning and hearing 3 beeps and that flashing thing. its not intermittent by the way. The flashing stays forever. OH! i plugged it in a diagnostic x431? computer and got a fault in the brake system. Its (65535 u48023) Internal control module memory Checksum Error. tried deleting the code, but it comes back. hope you guys can help me
