Needs

What would i need to do to get 400awhp with a 1.8t. All supporting mods and misc. stuff

Probably a BT or a BAT.

And a Civic engine swap.

Ahh Krip no longer recommending VW motors now? Putting a Civic motor in these cars will up the reliability 100% tho!

I would like to the wheels. I know theres more to it than what the write up says and i was wondering what it was that i needed. I want to make a build list of things to get started with

You will need at least a GT3071r and you will need to upgrade your rods.

What turbo would be suitable to use without snapping rods, and what would go with it for supporting mods?

Whatever Krip tells you is sarcasm...

Whatever Mike tells you is law. 400 WHP is a lot at the crank (over 500 given a 20% loss in a quattro drive train, but I believe it's closer to 25%) which mean BT and new rods.
