Replaced the VSS tonight. Still no speedo. Going to UroTuning here in Tampa to have them pull the codes, wipe everything, then see if that helps.

Anything else I can try?

Found this. Going to verify that this is the code I'm getting on Monday, and then pull this part out when replacing the CV axles next weekend.

Ordered a Triple Square bit set and the Speedo Sensor Ring.

Replaced the spark plugs and air filter with Denso Iridium's and a K&N respectively. #4 Spark plug hole had a bit of oil pooled in it, oil cap gasket is suspect. It's amazing what new plugs and filter can do for the car.

Old spark plugs:

I also bought some Seafoam, but I'm not sure which vacuum port to use for sucking it into the intake. I always took the line off the brake booster on my old 240's, but this is a V6 so I'm not sure that it would work the same. Anyone have any experience with this?

Eff yesssssss! I can feel my 240 mojo flowing back through me. Now it's just time for the JHM short shifter.

Hand made, lathed from Thorn wood I harvested in Ireland (wish I had gotten some more apple when I was in Germany), pressed into some copper fittings for stability.

custom boot that covers the brass would look really good.

We'll see what it looks like when I get the short shifter in. I might try to get the copper plated with nickle (or at least something that looks like it).

lawlz. No, but it does put the shifter pretty much level with the steering wheel, so I didn't have to reach very far (and as a result, didn't have to have my hand off the wheel for very long) in order to shift. Looks ridiculous, but it's really effective.
