LOL...yeah anyways generaly you wanna make sure you have you timing belt replaced im not sure when the dealer recomends you have it changed but its not the same as in the manual the intervals have changed since 98</P>

Other things like general maintinence are a no brainer<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>

Thats about 65K miles. Get your timing belt/tensioner done within the next 5-8K. You can drive it pretty damn hard - but get your timing belt done!

Then chip it and drive it even harder. <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0"> <edited><editID>brrman</editID><editDate>37960.0297800926</editDate></edited>

ohand besides seeing what boost your are running is there any other use for a boost gauge? i mean why are they so important?

Typical boost for the stock K03 turbo on an A4 is 7-9psi. Chipped (depending on your tuner) is like 14-17psi

A boost gauge is very useful in telling you if your car is running as it should. If boost is not as high as it normally is then you know you may have a vaccuum leak or something.

Apexi boost gauge is nice - I think thats an electrical gauge. I just went for the basic VDO Vision mechanical gauge for like $35. Does the job and matches my interior lighting. I watch it all the time, more than my TAC now...

here's a pic of my interior...
