Hi there to all, i purchased a new pioneer 7 series stereo, had installed, the antena ws conected to it, but now when i want to litsen to the radio station, i get alot of static, it is not like the oem radio, so i whent to another car stereo instalation place and had them check the antena, and they said evreything is conected properly, any sugestions?

 

My radio reception got worse after i installed an aftermarket head unit as well. I would assume its just that the stock unit has a more powerful FM reciever than the aftermarket unit? I don't ever listen to the radio so it doesn't bother me. I believe they sell reception-boosting antennas that stick on your back window, but I'm not sure there's a better fix than that.
