i just bought a 1996 audi a4, 2.8 v6 front wheel drive automatic, i bought it dirt cheap and it is in awesome condition except theres and issue with the transmission, if you put it into first gear to start out your fine then shift it into drive, once its in drive its fine it will up shift down shift everything it is soposed to do, reverse also works fine, it never slips it just doesnt want to start out in drive, its showing no codes, i dont know if its the whole transmission or mabie electrical or possibly low on fluid? theres no dipstick, does anyone have any ideas?
