Default o2 sensor wiring question

ok so today i installed an a/f gauge i had kickin around, i got everything in there but i cant for the life of me figure out which wire on the o2 sensor to tap into. i have the wiring diagram for the car, theres 4 wires coming off it, red/green and red/white should be the heater wires, and green and black should be the signal wires, but in the instructions that came with the thing it says to connect the wire to the 'O2 sensor signal (high)' not the ground side. im guessing black=ground but i want to be sure so i dont screw it up and have to replace the sensors or fry my gauge. does anyone have any info on this? thanks

Unless you have an 01+ AWM engine, dont waste your time. Having a narrowband a/f gauge is pointless

That is unless you are installing a AEM or Innivite wbo2 and gauge.

yea i realized that after installing everything, i went to search for the hookup info and got nothing but "a/f gauges are useless" but its in there already and since i have nothing else to do to my car till i get my new turbo this summer, i want to feel like i got something accomplished, even if its just a cool light show. once i get some new hardware to play with thats probably il probably just loose the gauge but for now, does anyone know what wire it is for ***** and giggles?
