Ok well as title states there is a problem with my odometer it turns on and lights up and every thing but it no longer keeps track of miles travelled it stays at the same number im guessing this is related to my speedometer dying out.

how can i get this fixed am i gonna need a new cluster(which seems like the expensive option) or can i simple raplace stuff.
i read on another website( after searching) that some times you can just change out a smaller "motor" that controls the speedometer. just looking for things i can do to get this problem fixed. car still runs normal.

 

I feel like that would be related to the vehicle speed sensor, though I don't know much about the way the odometer even works to be honest. Don't think you'll need a new cluster though

 

i was checking out the speed sensors over at ecstuning but it says they only got them for autos.
