oh boy
codes 1543. and 1565??????
ok here is my situation
on monday night i had a perfectly running b5 a4 2.8 qm lightly modified. i took car for ride monday. tuesday morning i started my pes g2 install and finished 9 hours later. all buttoned up and good.
my kit did not have ecu with it. and i was not told car would not start with factory ecu. tried to start car to no avail. checked error codes. po 1198 po 1199 o2 sensor codes. (i have new ones just have not had car on lift to install) these 2 code where only codes present tuesday night.
wed morning
so i contacted pes. took ecu to pes left it with them for reflash came home and buttoned everything but ecu up on kit.
thursday
drove down to pes picked up ecu. came home and installed ecu.
still no start.
checked all vacuum and electric connections. made sure i had spark and fuel. yes and yes.
checked trouble codes and i am getting codes
po 1543..P1543
Throttle Actuation Potentiometer Signal too Low
po 1565...P1565
Idle Speed Control Throttle Position lower limit not attained
any one ever have experence with the tps.. i am assuming this is my culprit.
im not looking for a limp mode. i dont think it will help me with s/c on might hurt me
i cant go back to stock right yet. need new ecu for a stock set up as pes just flashed current one.

GHEY SPAMMER!!!
To realign throttle turn the key to the ON position and leave it there for 3 minutes. You should be able to hear faint mechanical noises coming from the MAF. That's a start, but I reckon you might have a deeper problem, caused by the modification and a misunderstanding with the ECU and the mod
