Default OIL light indication...NEED HELP!

Hello,

I do my own OIL changes and I was just wondering if it is possible to reset the light instead of getting it down professionally. I own a 99 A4 2.8 Quattro. Please let me know if this is possible without paying for it. THANKS EVERYONE!

Yes, it is possible.

Well, it is on mine at least, but I have 98.5 1.8t. Do a search on the forum or better yet - check your owners manuel.

If your a pre 99 like mine you can do it buy pulling the timecontrol on the cluster while u turn the key to on or something like that. Just do a search and youll find it. Otherwise if that doesnt work you will have to use a vag-com, or get one of those speacialized ones on ebay thats cheaper.
