Don't mix it with any fluid. That is, don't use it at all. If you've got a leak, you need to replace something.

well compared to most cars most german cars are precision machines stop leak will work but the interals will be bye bye. expect a new pump and possilby a new rack, it rally just much cheaper to keep topping off until you can get it fixed or fix it, for a temporary thing try to locate the leak and plug it up with some gum.

But, I thought my car parts were hand crafted by the auto gods themselves, each piece lovingly assembled with the careful, nimble hands of virgins, and once complete, the whole car was blessed by druids to keep away evil spirits.
In fact, my car is not a car, but rather a mechnical and engineering work of perfection, cleaverly designed as a car.
At least, that's what I was told when I bought the car... ahem... work of perfection...

I've had stop-leak in my power steering system since i bought the car a year and a half ago and have had ZERO problems, so i call shenanigans. That said, I'm sure the pump/rack probably does need to be replaced, i just don't have the time to do it right now, so the stop leak will work.
