you have to go in and clear the codes for them to go away.

Ok, cleared the code, but it still sounds like the engine is chugging.

Could the MAF be bad? I'm now getting the P0102 code and the 1425 and 1472 again.

could be. the easiest way to tell is go do a 2k-6k rpm run and log it in vagcom to see what the MAF readings are. that will instantly tell you if its bad or not.

ok, well it seems the new MAF didnt fix the problem. The P1425 code is now first in line. I'm to assume something is up with my O2 sensor before the cat? That seems strange though that it would give an MAF error when its long after that sensor...

EDIT: also how exactly do I remove the O2 sensor? not a lot of room for a wrench...
