Default Open downpipe??

so the flex pipe connecting my DP to my exhaust has deteriorated and disconnected. My first question is will this hurt the engine in anyway, i know NA cars cant run open DP because of lack of "chasing" or "back pressure" right? But what about turbo cars. I'm not keeping it like this i just don't have the funds to fix it at the moment and don't want to screw anything up in the meantime.

Second question is how much are the flex joints/pipe whatever it is called and where can I find them for a good price.

Much appreciated,
Bertoli

There is nothing I can think of that will damage the engine by running it this way. It took me two weeks before I finally got sick of the noise and took it to the local muffler shop when this happened to me. $100 bucks later, I left with a much quieter ride and a newly welded in place flex pipe.
