So I have a 1996 2.8, its in amazing working order so I wont be getting rid of it for a while. In the time being I figure I would invest in some good looks. I've been looking around at many oem options and love the b5 Rs4s. I know many think its over done, but its really not a big deal to me. I also love the idea of having another brand rim such as VW, Porsche or Bentley. Ill go aftermarket for the right look.

I just cant seem to figure out what rim design/color looks good with pearl white. I'm so indecisive that I just need some input from you guys. So here is the car, What should I do?

If its any help, I think this is the most beautiful setup I have ever seen, but this is ibis white, so black might not work with the pearl...

I'm also planning on lowering the car with H&Rs

Thanks,

bbs lm look rly good. check out themexican's and A4_Effort's car. go for a baller setup. i'd also paint the lowers too. also if you get sporty wheels, get an rs4 grille, if you get baller wheels, get an s4 grille

I would love to paint the lowers, but where can I get side skirts that come on the face lift a4s? Under my door i have a rounded black bar running the length of the car, i can't imagine that looking very nice painted...

actually it'll look much better than you think. what you have is shaved doors that only the 96 have. it's kind of like a cheating way to get the S4 side skirt look. if you look at the car ghost posted it has shaved doors too. you can also look at pics of A$_2.8tuner's car as he just shaved his lowers too

that's really nice ghost. if the white was matched to your color pearlescent, that would be killer. what side covers are you talking about? the door sills with the aluminum in them?

In all honestly, any color wheels would look good on a white Audi. Even those gold wheels. :)

As for side skirts, some people don't bother getting those as they just paint the lower part of the car. If you want to get sideskirts, I would suggest the S4 as they would fit beautifully with the stock front and rear. However, if you plan on going with aftermarket front and rear, perhaps you should also go with aftermarket sideskits as aftermarket kit tend to go lower than the S4 skirts.

How about slam the car with Bentley wheels? ;)

As for rims, I think a pearl white face with a deep polished lip would look fkn awesome.

What exactly do you mean "shaved doors?" I can't find any difference other than the lack of side skirts/bottom door moldings...
