Opinions on this Audi for sale

Alright so I recently came across this in the fortitude classifieds

http://forums.fourtitude.com/zerothread?id=4812584

Looks extremely clean and kinda interested in going and checking it out because its local. What do you guys think? Should the salvage title wave the red flag?

Thanks in advanced guys

Looks and sounds pretty good.

I purchased my car as a salvage. It was all body damage. Make sure you look it over well tho.

Good luck

I will say that I must of stole my car! It's sharp and depending on the state there is nothing wrong with a salvage title. The car has to be inspected before it can go on the road so the seller clearly made it by. Down side is for you to reg. that car you will have to get it inspected again (at least thats how it works here) Also would talk to your insurance company, some are not fans of salvage titles. but the car its self looks clean!

a car can have a salvage title for many things...see if you can find out what had happened to it. Otherwise, looks good. I'd buy it...

Yea and ask bout the timing belt, he said it broke?
To my knowledge if a timing belt snaps it effs up the engine and fries internals?

seems kind of high for a salvage title car... I just paid 3.5k for my 2001qtms with clean title. I can't remember the formula but I think you have to deduct like 30-40% off the normal value if it's a salvage.

Wow that's a killer price! what shape was that 01 in? I'm a little hesitant on the car but finding a nice clean a4 for a decent price in Georgia has been pretty difficult :( I just don't want to let the right one go! hah
