Default Out with the old - In with the new .... (new to me ... )

So I spent my weekend swaping out my old interior which was some kind of three tone with browns, beige and some form of caramel. I didn't like the way it looked and I decided to go with a color combination that I think is good. Black, beige and CF. The door cards were off of a B5 S4 as well as all the trim pieces and carpet. It took about 12 hours to do the entire swap including the two hardest parts which were removing the carpet and dash. In the end I think the results were well worth all the pains and cut up hands and even though the CF does not stand out as much, it sill looks good IMO. Let me know what you think as I am contemplating whether or not to put in the S4 seats since I like the current contrast. The seats are black leather with suede insets that match the door cards.

In my opinion it goes better with my current paint scheme but I may be a little biased .......

Here is a picture of the S4 seats I have and of the car they came out of. This will be a little harder of a mod as the seat mounting brackets are different and the S4 seats are power and heated where as mine are just heated, so additional wiring will have to be run a well as some welding.

Looks real nice man. Real nice. I miss the 3 spoke wheel though. I'm like that though . On your rear brackets for the seat I think there is some minor prep work and welding.

I may be selling my S4 seats as I found a complete S4 interior in the UK and since they have the RS4, the S4 came with the exact same seat brackets as ours (manual). They are heated like mine and dirt cheap but the shipping will even it out to about what I could get a set for here.

He is willing to just sell me just the fronts as my rears will work just fine.

I have some thinking to do ......

Go for it. If the shipping works out with the price then heck yes! That stuff kills on the other side of the pond.

Leatherette FTW! Aha, I think the black and tan seats would look wicked nice. I hate that steering wheel though .

You suck.

I just bought black S4 interior. I'm pretty much doing the exact same thing you are and now I feel like a copy cat even though I bought the stuff 3 weeks ago and just haven't had the time to install it.

Looks good!

Thanks, and that got sold a long time ago ......

I catch a lot of flack for my current steering wheel but I like it and it feels way better than my 3 spoke, you never see this wheel and finally it has an air bag.

Actually I got all of my stuff from Rob at A&P Specialties over a month ago, but did not install it due to my turbo problem. Since that issue has been resolved I got into the interior change. Let me know if you need any help as there are a few tricky areas that you will have to remember as I had to do them twice.

One of the areas that I have to redo is my dash as I did make sure the two rear tabs caught onto the metal clips by the windshield so when the car idles, I can see it vibrate a little ..........
