I understand it could be a vacuum eak? any other common issues with this code? thanks

Could be the SAI pump, SAI pump relay, SAI pump fuse, combi valves, combi valve vacuum hoses, combi valve vacuum solenoid, those are the usual things to check. Sometimes the combi valves get stuck open.
