What do you mean? My engine bay is extremely dirty, I had apologized for that earlier. I am going to be cleaning it very soon.

hahaha not you man, I mean the guy who hacked together that PCV vent. That looks literally nothing like it's supposed to look. Is that a piece of brass pipe?

Ha no that's the flash reflecting on the dirt , haha. I did find out it's right. I have the mid VIN split in on the 1.8t. VINs up to 040 000, I believe, have it on the TIP. 040 000 to 500 000 have it on the back of the valve cover . I'm in the 300 000 area. I do appreciate your help!

Not a chance that's factory.

Are u saying the valve isnt factory? Im confused. it was a genuine audi/vw part number 06a 129 101 d.

The PCV valve is a factory part, yes. What I'm saying is that the way it's put together is not factory. The hose clamps are obviously too big and the pancake valve is supposed to be in the turbo inlet pipe, not on the back of the motor like that.
