for people on a tight budget and want sound

i know alot of people on here have custom exhaust but im on a very tight budget and i need some sound outa my car and i found on youtube were a guy took out his resonator and it sounded kinda good and i found out at my college i go to we do work on our own cars for free soo i was thinking i would cut it out but.... i found another vid and it was on a 12v and sounded like rice **** so idk what to do

Dude, you gotta learn to search. For the last two weeks, we've been talking about Mr. Phil's $55 exhaust. You can't really go too much cheaper than that.

its a STOCK muffler, when i put it on it didnt do anything to the car except change the look of it, its just like ecs said, a stock oem muffler, thats why i did the resonator delete cuz the sound didnt change at all and i wanted a lil tone to it

Don't do it, save your money and buy a Borla/Millitek/etc. I hope you can tell those videos sound they same, and they both sound terrible.

Phil good job, it looks good and seems to have a nice tone.

Be serious, they both sound like tin cans rattling around. The first one has an intake which is giving it a slightly different note. I have an intake on my car (not by choice, came with the car and haven't had the time to put the stock one back in), but it makes a huge different and puts a nice sound in the cabin.
