wondering if anyone has ran the pes tunning g2 supercharger. was going to 4.2 swap but decided to try and get some more love out of my 2.8. i have some pennies into it already at this point. so im going to boost it. seen all the you tube videos so im looking for some feedback on the forum. maybe a horror storie or two.

From what I've heard it's a pretty good setup. If you get it from PES or a reputable dealer it comes with a tune and everything.

Just watch out because the 2.8 can't handle much more than 12 lbs of boost. You'll mulch rods and what-not.

If you want opinions from actual owners, scaudi.com is the place to go.

Give us some details on your current set-up! So did you dyno at 241 to the wheels? If so that's pretty impressive! What cams are you running? I wasn't sure they made cams for the 2.8 30v anymore? What did you use to tune the setup? Did you up the compression?

picked block up from a local machine shop for 2gs after some one had work done and never picked it up. webber makes cams to any spec you want and offer four diffrent cams for a 2.8. top end work was done by a local machine shop my dad used called luisky racing. je pistons and integrared rods. the injectors are out of a 3.2 a6q had problems with the first set of rc injectors i ran. neuspeed did the software but there where all kinds of problems still problerms. just started doing buisness with a company called f1 tunning out of long island ny. the car was dynoed last at sabitining racing.
currently im in the proccess of gutting all the extra wait out of the car and putting a cage in. also fabricating a solid 1 piece intake plenum.

and its funny i was at a show out here in pa on the first of aug. and i was the only 2.8 30v there and amungst all the big turbo s4s and 1.8ts and 4.2s the car went unoticed. i built this car with the intention of running autocross not showing so its not a flashy car its quick and serves my purpose well. i originally bought it cuase it was safer than my mk2 vr and my wife was pregnant with twins. needless to say its not close to the car i bought almost 3yrs ago
