So i always get this pop like sounds of my downpipe (yes its open down pipe) but even with full exhaust i would hear it its just random really small pops not loud.

I did some maintenance everything is in order i clean my TB checked all my check valves made sure there was no leaks or cracks and everything checks out good no cel codes no pending codes RPM at idle when warm is 940-950 around there i dont know if this is to high or not but that's what my scanner shows, 02 sensors are working and on range, no hesitation no loss on power under acceleration.

any idea why i hear it? sounds like a backfire doubt is a misfire since my engine does not shake or rattle just seats there smooth idle and u can here the pops.

the only thing i did notice and am not sure if this is normal or not is that my gas cap has no pressure build in when i remove it nothing at all my gas cap is new so doubt is broken.

any ideas what it could be? before i can just call it "NORMAL" for the car to do that lol.
