lol i wasnt sure i am coming from a nissan 240sx, so i dont really know much about audi's he was saying when the cel came on for the o2 sensor the blower stopped working or something like that

 

They arent related. And if it were true, youve got a hell of wiring problem youd have to deal with. Id move on to looking at a different car.

OP don't worry, they're not laughing at you. It's just funny because we get a lot of "I'm looking at this car and the dealer told me __________." and "I'm talking to this guy on craigslist about this car and he says _____."

Its a good thing you thought to come here first because its amazing what shady **** people will try to get away with. I'd take Dallas' advice and move on to a different car, and DEFINITELY a different seller. Feel free to post up any more questions you might have while you're looking, and take a look at the FAQ sticky at the top of the B5 forum, its full of lots of useful info that you can use as ammo against shady people like that. Exactly bud, i'm not laughing at you by any means. Just at what this guy told you, obviously he's full of **** and he's trying to get your money. AVOID HIM. Personally i would ask him what the hell the ac has to do with the o2 sensor, just to hear his bullshit response, haha.
