possible fuel leak?

When I start up I have to keep on the accelerator to keep the engine going. I hear a whistling noise when I have the accelerator pushed nearly full.

The following picture is of a line that when I move it around seems to relieve pressure. I also can smell fuel in the air. Does anyone know what this line is or if it has anything to do with my issue?

I've looked around in a Haynes manual with no luck whatsoever.

The line you have circled is the vacuum supply to the brake booster. A vacuum leak could cause your hard starting issues. Do you have any check engine codes?

I have been looking for a replacement, but every one i find doesn't share the same curve angle of this one. I have looked on VagCat extensively. anyone know where else to look? My a4 is the AWM model.

Oh and I don't currently have access to an OBD2, i plan on buying one tomorrow. I have had to take my car to auto zone one too many times, but with my Audi's current problem i don't want to drive it anywhere.

never mind, i continued clicking like crazy until i found one that is exactly like mine. Hopefully this is the answer to my problem, they want $103 for this hose.

A bit pricey, but it's the factory part.
